Who We Are

Throwing ourselves straight in at the deep end, our first assignment — bringing together the people, processes, materials and funding to electrify the homes being built for the N2 Gateway Housing Settlement Project — was as demanding as they come.  However this experience has provided the platform for Citrine to quickly grow its expertise and become a one of the Western Cape’s leading providers of electrification services.  

As Citrine’s reputation for turnkey electrical solutions has grown, so too has our product offering.  The company has achieved accreditation as an Eskom EsCO for the delivery of Light Voltage and Medium Voltage reticulation services and DSM lighting services.   

We have developed a keen sense of the need for sustainable energy solutions and in 2008 branched out into Demand Side Management (DSM), energy efficiency initiatives and renewable energy solutions and have forged a number of key industry partnerships related to the supply and commissioning of photovoltaic energy solutions, solar water heaters and smart electrical and water meters.   

We remain committed to supporting the Government’s housing and infrastructure development objectives and hold as a major goal sustaining our ability to engage on social projects with a dual focus of delivery and upliftment of local communities through skills development and employment of local labour.  

The company is driven by the vision of its founder and CEO, Nazeem Price, whose personal ethos continues to shape the direction of the company.
